Labrador Retriever - Medium - Adult - Female - Dog - Gracie
Description
Gracie is an absolute sweetheart who is a brand new addition to the shelter. Gracie was found wandering a very busy road on the island with her two puppies by one of our wonderful volunteers. Gracie is a very calm, good natured dog and loves getting out for walks with the volunteers, exploring and meeting her new kennel mates. Gracie is only about 18 months old so at her age and with her wonderful nature she would be very easy to train. Gracie would make a wonderful family dog! Gracie has unfortunately tested positive for heartworm, however this is easily treated and Gracie is currently in foster care to start receiving her treatment. Gracie will be ready to go to her forever home shortly! Our organization, UAA, partners with the Cayman Islands Humane Society to help rescue some of their dogs as they have a horrendous stray population there. Together, we take care of transport arrangements and costs ....we just need someone to provide a "furever" home to Gracie.
