Labrador Retriever - Large - Adult - Female - Dog - Geanie
Description
Geanie and Genny are brand new arrivals to the shelter who we think are sisters, they arrived together. They were found wandering a busy road on the island. Both these girls are absolutely gorgeous, with lovely and gentle personalities. Geanie is approximately 2 years old and, like her sister, absolutely loves going out for walks with the volunteers, all of whom seem to have fallen in love with Geanie and her sister Genny. Geanie also gets along really well with her kennel-mates and wants to make friends with everyone! Geanie is the one in the footage with the longer coat of the two. Geanie has unfortunately tested positive for heartworm, however this is easily treated and Geanie is currently in a foster home receiving her treatment. Geanie will be ready to go to her forever home in a short while ! Our organization, UAA, partners with the Cayman Islands Humane Society to help rescue some of their dogs as they have a horrendous stray population there. Together, we take care of transport arrangements and costs ....we just need someone to provide a "furever" home to Geanie.
